Jonathan, IBB, Mark, Others Honour OBJ At Son’s Wedding
The ancient city of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, was agog on Saturday, as President Goodluck Jonathan, former military Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (rtd), Senate President David Mark and Board of Trustees (BoT) chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih, honoured former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his son’s wedding ceremony.

President Jonathan was represented by the Minister of State, FCT, Jumoke Akinjide.
In his sermon, during the ceremony, the chaplain of the Chapel, Reverend Femi Olajide, admonished the couple, Chigozie and Bisoye to be truthful to each other and live together in peace.
Olajide asked the couple to take the bible as their manual for marriage if they want to be succesful and use it to address the challenges that would result from it.
He asked Christians to fulfil the purpose why which God created them and understand that they would give account before God.
Highlight of the wedding included the charge and declaration, the vows and the exchange of rings, proclamation and special prayer for the couple.
Also in attendance at the ceremony, held at the Chapel of Christ The Glorious King inside the multi-billion naira Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), were former chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; former FCT Minister, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai; Governor Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun) and former governors of Osun, Ekiti and Kano states, Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Engineer Segun Oni and Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau respectively.
Former chairman, SURE-P programme, Sir Christopher Kolade; Sir Adebutu Kessington; Steve Orosanye; Kunle Ojora; Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina; Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),Deputy Governor (Operations), Mr. Tunde Lemo, the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, the Osile of Oke Ona Egba, Oba (Dr) Adedapo Tejuoso and the Olowu of Owu, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu were among the dignitaries.
