Watch: R. Kelly Pays Tribute to Nelson Mandela, Performs "Shut Up" With Fake Press Conference on "Arsenio"

R. Kelly gave viewers their money's worth on "The Arsenio Hall Show" last night. He paid tribute to the late Nelson Mandela with "Soldier's Heart", a song he once performed live in the home of the South African leader. He also performed his post tonsil-surgery anthem "Shut Up" (complete with a fake press conference) and "When a Woman Loves", and did a series of improvised tunes based on random topics proposed by the audience (Frosted Flakes, ketchup, etc.) And in an interview with Arsenio, he talked about Oreos, black holes, and the panties vs. thongs debate.

R. Kelly's album Black Panties is out December 10. Watch his "Arsenio" appearance below (and find the rest of the interview segments on Arsenio's YouTube).
