At this point, it feels like the Game of Thrones Season 4 trailer has been promoted even more heavily than the actual season premiere (which is on April 6, 2014). Fortunately, the long anticipated moment has arrived — the trailer is here, and it's just as epic as you expected it to be.
This promo is a full minute and forty seconds long, and every moment is jam packed with favorite characters, new faces, brutal action, stunning scenery — basically everything you could want in a season of Game of Thrones.
We've only had a chance to watch this vid a few (OK, a dozen) times, so we haven't analyzed it closely yet. But on first (and second) glance, some of the most notable moments include Tyrion in chains, glimpses of Joffrey's Royal Wedding to Margaery Tyrell (who is sporting one hell of a hairdo), new character Oberyn Martell, who is featured in several clips, Jaime Lannister getting a fake hand, Jon Snow in the midst of what appears to be an intense battle against Wildlings, and Dany declaring that people "have a choice: they can live in my new world, or they can die in their old one."
