Soweto's 40‚000-seater Orlando Stadium is officially full‚ as the Economic Freedom Fighters rally to launch their manifesto for the August local government elections.
The EFF spared no effort to prove to all that they can fill up a stadium and event is symbolic as it takes place a few metres from where students in 1976 defied the apartheid government. It is in this township that youths redefined the struggle against apartheid.
Malema was expelled as president of the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL)‚ after which he founded the EFF in August 2013. More pics after cut....

Supporters filling up the stadium
"Zuma usisifebe" (Zuma is a whore)‚ "Zuma uyaloya" (Zuma is a witch) and "Zuma usisi mau mau" (Zuma is dumb)‚ are some of the songs the opposition party's supporters sang as they entered Soweto's Orlando Stadium.
A group was seen carrying a coffin with Zuma's picture and a note saying "Zupta must fall". A wreath lay on top of the coffin.
A truck load of bananas was supplied
