Janet‚ who will turn 50 years-old on May 16‚ shocked fans last month when she announced that she would be taking a break from her Unstoppable world tour to focus on building a family with her husband Wissam Al Mana.
The announcement raised speculation that the star may be pregnant with her first child and the rumours were confirmed by both ET Entertainment and E! News on Wednesday. According to E! News sources‚ Janet is in her second trimester of pregnancy.
Despite it being quite uncommon for woman near the age of 50 to fall pregnant‚ a source told E! Entertainment that Janet and her husband have been working with a fertility specialist for some time in hope of starting a family.
