In commemorating the 2018 Children’s Day,
YELOTO African Children Foundation celebrates the day with the children at the
pediatric ward of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). Also, to
share in their pains, the organisation paid the surgeries fees for 10 indigent
families.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adewale
Oke thanked Yeloto for the gesture in making the donations. He pointed out that
“Yeloto has always been a part of success story at the facility and promised

Dr.OluyemiOlawaiye, Founder/Executive
Director, YELOTO in his remarks welcomed the new chairman of Yeloto African
Children Foundation in person of Dr.FowobiGbadebo, a child and adolescent
psychiatrist based in United States.
With the assistance of LASUTH social
workers and its executive management team, YELOTO has been handed the list of
ten beneficiaries of this year's sponsorship scheme.
YELOTO Director of Communications and
Public relations officer Mr. Olasunkanmi Idowu emphasized that the organisation
has been partnering with Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) management for
the past six years in bringing succour to the needy who can’t afford the fee
for surgeries. He also encouraged the parents
of the beneficiaries by saying “I want to tell you parents that hope is not
lost, I’m sure this time last week you were not sure of what will happen, but
God has used Yeloto for you and I’m sure permanent health will come the way of
your children after the surgery we hope to do more of this.”
In addition, YELOTO will provide food and
drinks to each child in the pediatric ward of LASUTH, to express our care
towards them and to reassure them that they are NEVER far from our minds.

The beneficiaries thanked YELOTO for their
support for coming to their aids in settling the medical bills and post-surgery
support for their children.
The 2018 children’s day celebration was
rounded up on 27th May 2018 with gift items, cakes, foods and drinks to the
children and their families at LASUTH Pediatric Ward.
YELOTO was created in 2011 by
Dr.OluyemiOlawaiye, Pharm,D, with the support of his wife Dr. Regine
Bruny-Olawaiye, MD/MBA.
