One half of the defunct KC Presh music group, KCee has continued to make a statement for himself that he is not a fluke in the highly competitive music industry in Nigeria. The singer, after making a huge success with his 'Limpopo' single, is still a big force to be reckoned with in Africa.

He recently started promoting a new song entitled 'Pull Over', which has been ruling the airwaves, especially since the music video hit many television stations across Africa.

Now, the song has made the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 list. 'Pull Over' debuted on the chart and made it straight to the number nine spot. Another debutant is 'Jaiye Jaiye' by Wizkid.

Also, Sound Sultan's 'Natural Something' is on the number one spot.

Strike: Unijos Orders Lecturers to Resume Work

The University of Jos   has directed  lecturers of the institution to resume work immediately.

In  a statement,    the Registrar of the school, Jilli Dandam,    said  that the order  to resume work immediately was in compliance with the Federal  Government’s  directive.

The statement read:   "Following the federal government's order on resumption of academic activities in all federal institutions, the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council on behalf of the governing council has directed  all academic staff of the university of Jos  to  return to their various departments and units, and commence work immediately”.

City midfielder Toure beats Mikel and Moses to African Footballer of the Year award

Manchester City's Yaya Toure has been named 2013 BBC African Footballer of the Year.

The midfielder, who had been nominated in each of the past five years but had never won, beat off competition from Chelsea anchor man John Obi Mikel, on-loan Liverpool forward Victor Moses, Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Rennes winger Jonathan Pitroipa to win the award.

The former Barcelona man told BBC Sport: 'I think I've been nominated for five years in a row and finally winning the award is amazing. I'm very happy as it is the fans who have given it to me - so I'm very appreciative.'
