Manchester City v Chelsea: Will Mourinho outfox Pellegrini again?

Manuel Pellegrini (right) and Jose Mourinho

Manuel Pellegrini must reverse the course of his past history and prove he is not "spooked" by nemesis Jose Mourinho when Manchester City meet Chelsea in the FA Cup at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Pellegrini has won only once in nine meetings as Malaga and Manchester City boss against the man who succeeded him at Real Madrid.

And Mourinho's game plan as Chelsea completed the Premier League double over City with a 1-0 away win on 3 February was regarded as a tactical masterclass which left Pellegrini outmanoeuvred.
City and Pellegrini have the opportunity to make amends for that first home league defeat this season by turning the tables on Mourinho and demonstrating the magnificent attacking football that has made them such a force at home.

The last five FA Cup finals have featured either one of these two sides, with Chelsea winning all three of their final appearances and City winning one and losing one (last season v Wigan).
These two teams have met on only four previous occasions in the FA Cup, with City losing the first meeting in 1915 but winning the next three (including last season's semi-final, 2-1).
The Blues have lost just one of their last 32 FA Cup games, winning 25 and drawing six.
The Citizens have suffered just one FA Cup defeat on home soil in their last 11 games, winning nine and drawing one.
Chelsea are the only English side to win at Etihad Stadium this season - earning a 1-0 victory there in the Premier League earlier this month.
The last time that Manchester City lost two competitive home matches within the same month was in January 2012.
Chelsea are unbeaten in 12 matches; winning nine and drawing three.
