Did Adebayor's mom dry up his goals with muti?

Could Emmanuel Adebayor’s feud with his mother be the reason as to why he has been struggling on the field of play?

The Tottenham Hotspur striker’s family has accused him of throwing his mother out of his house alleging that she practises witchcraft on him.
The striker’s brother Kola said that Emmanuel has been manipulated by Muslim advisers known as ‘alfas’ who, he claims, have led the striker to believe that his mother is practising black magic on him - and that is why his goals are drying up.
“Emmanuel will not even talk to her. He’s been brainwashed by these Muslim alfas — spiritual men — who prophesise when he scores goals and why he is not playing well.
According to Daily Mail, Adebayor’s family is claiming that the 30 year-old has been brainwashed by people who told him that his mother is behind him not scoring goals.

Adebayor has been struggling to find the back of the net this season as he has only managed to score two goals in 12 matches as compared to 14 goals in 25 matches from the previous season.
“They should stop talking, talking, they should stop doing juju on me — they should leave me alone,” Adebayor said.
He has however defended himself and said that he did not throw his mother of the house but that she left voluntary.
“Obviously I’m not a pastor, I am a footballer so I cannot point out a witch. I never sacked my mum from the house — she decided to leave the house.
“But how am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward,” said Adebayor in a radio interview.
He also accused his family of preparing for a life after his death and how they will be sharing his assets.
“They have already shared all the things I worked for,’ he said. ‘They shared my houses, they shared my cars. They say, “If he dies this car is for you, this house is for you”.
