Hip Hop artist Flabba at the carling Black label party at Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.
Habedi was 38-years- old.
According to www.enca.com, he was reportedly stabbed to death at 2am in the morning by his girlfriend in Alexandra.
Siyabonga “Slikour” Metane, a friend and fellow rapper confirmed the death, “I just got a call from his family. I will be on my way to his family’s home.”
"At this stage we can confirm that a well known musician was allegedly stabbed to death," police spokeswoman Lt-Col Katlego Mogale said.
"His girlfriend is in custody and she is expected to appear in court soon."
Enca further reports that Flabba's younger brother watched him die at the hands of his lover. Flabba is survived by his mother and two children.
