J- ARROW

J-arrow (real name Sphe Mazibuko) is coined as South Africa’s youngest leading artist in the R&B market with a mass following exceeding 12 000, quite a phenomenal peak for his age (21) and the genre of music that he is partaking in.

He has hit number one in KZN with his previous song titled "Owe It To You" which was voted one of the best songs in the province alongside powerful acts such as "Micasa" and other big names. He has been compared to the likes of Chris Brown and Usher and has worked, collaborated and performed with artists such as AKA, Khuli Chana, Jovislash, Fonzo, X Da Green Panther, Josslyn Hlenti, Sibu, Paul Da Prince, Stevel Marc, Breeze, Judas, Nasty C and some of the well-known DJ's.

His previous songs released from the EP #Golden have all experienced playlisting on 10+ radio stations (5FM, YFM, Good Hope FM, East Coast Radio, Gagasi FM, Bush Radio, Motsweding FM, Mdantsane FM), several campus radio stations (UJ FM, VOW FM, Rhodes Music Radio and VUT FM) in South Africa including African countries (Sean Radio, Radio WDSR and 2 radio stations in the U.S (iHeart Radio being one of them). In a nutshell, his music has been played on 80% of the leading radio stations in the country.

He was part of one of the leading youth choirs in his province (KZN) and ultimately won one of the biggest competitions, the Blackberry Talent Search in which the face and driver of the event, AKA, is now one of the top 3 leading rap artists in the country. J- Arrow won in his division and got mentored by the artist for a year in which he witnessed international acts come perform which took his learning experience to a whole new level. He plays several music instruments, the main instrument being the guitar.

Not only is he a singer but he is also a producer, songwriter, dancer, and performing artist with complimentary honours in choir & drama. He has also recently launched his clothing label, ‘J-Arrow Clothing’ which has been received quite well by his fans and supporters.
