On Sunday 1st October 2017, the popular Mama Yoruba Lounge on 3 Quartz street in downtown Johannesburg hosted a celebration of Nigeria's 57 Independence Carnival. It was a mix of SADC and Nigerians celebrating the biggest black nation in the world. Chief Ajayi Elizabeth, Popularly known as Mama Yoruba host her customers, Friends of Nigeria and others to an Independence Carnival.
