Global footballing icon and honorary Real Madrid president Alfredo Di Stefano has passed away at the age of 88.
The Argentine secured legend status while playing for the Galacticos between 1953 and 1964, helping the side to an incredible eight Spanish league titles and five successive European Cup triumphs.
Di Stefano, who also represented Spain at international level, suffered a heart attack on Saturday and had been in an induced coma at Madrid's Gregorio Maranon hospital.

However, Los Blancos have since confirmed that the club legend had died at 17:15 CET (16:15 BST) on Monday.
A Real Madrid statement read: "President Florentino Perez, and the club's executive committee, would like to express their most sincere condolences, love and support for his children, family members and friends."
