The Africa News Network's Special campaign to save the life of 26 year old, Gontlafetse Sehako who suffers from chronic Pulmonary Hypertension is no longer a dream, but is close to turning into a reality thanks to the generous donations from ANN7 viewers. 

ANN7 reporter Neria Hlakotsa discovered the story of Gontlafetse Sehako whose left lung is completely destroyed and the right side of her heart is dysfunctional and is urgently in need of a new lung. 
ANN7's #SaveSehako Campaign which started on Friday 3rd July touched the hearts of people from all walks of life - even breaking the barriers of borders as viewers from other countries called in to share their love.
At 12h50 on the 6th of July 2015, a benefactor, who would like to remain anonymous donated R200 000,00 to the #SaveSehako campaign. 
To #SaveSehako the channel is aiming to raise a minimum of R300 000,00. 
Abhinav Sahay , ANN7 editor, shared the channel sentiment with regards to the public response to the campaign, "ANN7 is overwhelmed by the response it has got. The fact that people from every nook and corner want to extend a helping hand to a fellow human being in distress; speaks volumes about the strength in our society."
