SOuth Africa Book Fair revisits Mandela’s Legacy

But one thing that can’t be disputed is his important and influential role in the history of South Africa.
Together with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the South African Book Fair 2015 are proud to present Revisiting Mandela’s Legacy.

Twenty one years after South Africa's democracy, Revisiting Mandela’s Legacy re-examine the life of the man that led us to freedom, and the legacy he left behind.
Did Mandela concede too much in the transition to democracy? Did he focus on nation-building at the expense of transformation? And if so, was he right to do so?
Panelists include Mondli Makhanya, Sello Hatang, Simamkele Dlakavu and Rekgotsofetse Chikane, they are facilitated by Siki Mgabadeli, with Prof. Njabulo Ndebele as the respondent.
In a discussion that will most likely prove to be both controversial and animated, they will ask the interesting questions and look into the actions and motivations of an icon who was also just a man.
