Speculation that Matheba would no longer be the face of Revlon South Africa, remain just that.
The 28-year old will carry on as the face of the beauty brand, according to Michelle Stevens, Revlon SA spokesperson."We have no plans to end our relationship with Bonang," said Stevens.
Talk that Matheba would be axed from Revlon came to a head when she was revealed by DJ Zinhle to be the woman who had a hand in ending her relationship with the father of her daughter, rapper AKA.The affair claims led Revlon to take some flak for having Matheba as their face with some opining she did not represent the brand.
Revlon appears to have reduced the flight of adverts of their 'Love is on' campaign where Matheba speaks about being romantically involved. The commercial has not been received in the same light after news of Matheba's involvement in a love triangle made headlines. But Stevens would not be draw into confirming the retraction of the adverts.
"As a matter of policy, Revlon does not comment on its media campaigns," she said in a terse statement.
