Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho intends to sell Romelu Lukaku in the summer to fund a deal for a new senior striker signing.
The Daily Star says the Blues hope to bank around £20m by flogging Belgian Lukaku, 20, with Atletico Madrid keen.
And they plan to plough the money into a bid for a world class striker.
The Blues are considering long-term target Radamel Falcao again after learning his move to Monaco has already turned sour.
Falcao joined Monaco last summer for £50m but is understood to be disillusioned in France.
