Sultry at 60! Oprah shows off her seductive side as she poses like a supermodel for her O magazine

She normally goes for more conventional cover shots.
But Oprah Winfrey threw caution to the wind when she posed for the front of the May issue of her O magazine.
The star, who turned 60 on January 29, smiled flirtatiously as she reclined in a beautiful purple gown that flattered her curvacious body.
On the carpet: Oprah Winfrey, who turned 60 in January, celebrated her age in a sizzling photoshoot for the front cover of the May edition of her Oprah magazine that focusses on 'How to Love the Skin You're In'

The dress was by Vicky Tiel of Carms Couture Designs and her shoes are from Sarah Jessica Parker's new collection.
Her luxuriant dark brown tresses were spread around her perfectly made up face on the carpet in glorious waves.
Oprah rested one hand seductively above her head, showing off a heavy gold bracelet, while the other clasped her hip where the bustier of her gown ended.
Getting in position: The 60-year-old chatted as she assumed the pose for the front cover photoshoot by celebrity snapper Ruven Afanador

She bent one knee and rested it on the other, allowing the fabric of the ankle-length dress to drape seductively to either side in the photo shoot by celebrity snapper Ruven Afanador.

The TV entrepreneur obviously doesn't feel her 60 years - or look them either.
Talking about her age and how it has changed how she feels about her body, Oprah said: 'I’m not one to get hung up on numbers but if you want to say 60 is the new 40, I’ll take that.

'You can be and do whatever you want, thanks to exercise and hair color. Hair color. The greatest invention of all time for women. Thank you, Miss Clairol.'
The theme of the May issue is ‘How to Love the Skin You’re In’ and admires the beauty, elegant function and incredible capabilities of  the human body.
If the photoshoot is anything to go by, Oprah clearly loves her body, even though the years are passing.
Playing the numbers game: 'If you want to say 60 is the new 40, I'll take that'

She shared: 'The absolute best part about aging is being free and able to do whatever you want. There’s nothing better than that.'
The star, who has been with her partner Stedman Graham since 1986, added: 'The hardest part is really recognizing the time that you’ve wasted and the things that you worried about that really didn’t matter. You regret the time that was wasted.'
The May issue of O, The Oprah Magazine hits newsstands on April 15.
