Lady Gaga has wished her millions of 'Little Monsters' a happy Thanksgiving.
The 'Do What U Want' hitmaker tweeted her 40 million followers thanking them for their continued support before her performance with Kermit the Frog and the Muppets is aired on ABC TV to mark the American holiday tonight (28.11.13).
The 27-year-old posted on Twitter: "Happy Thanksgiving little turkey+tofurkey monsters, I love you with all my heart and thought all day about how grateful I am to be a performer in this life, writing you songs and singing to you year after year! #thankful4monsters. (sic)"
The pop superstar also got emotional earlier on in the day when preparing for the Thanksgiving special and tweeted: "I was getting ready for a tv today and I just burst into tears, all my beautiful costumes, the amazing stage shows. It's all because of you.
"Everyone keep warm & bundle up! I'll see you tonight with the Muppets on ABC. And if your already warm, turn up the freezer it's the holidays! (sic)"
In tonight's show Gaga is seen surrounded by the famous Muppets, including Miss Piggy, Walter, Fozzie Bear and Animal.
Kermit said about the show: "We have a long history with Ms. Gaga, so we jumped at the chance to do a holiday special with her.
"We won't even mind if she mistakes some of the Muppets for pieces of her wardrobe - again."
