If you didn't watch the American Music Awards last night, that photo up there is basically what happened in a nutshell. Miley Cyrus showed up and underwhelmed everybody with the fact that she actually wore pants (cropped pants, nonetheless, but any kind of pants on this girl = progress), stuck her tongue out a gaggle of times, and performed "Wrecking Ball," i.e., the only song off "Bangerz" that anybody cares about, and made us all feel awkward for having to stare at this weird kitten bikini thing. Sorry about all that.
The best part about it is that there's video, but friends, be warned: Miley is obviously losing her touch. The tongue, the twerking, the unflattering excess of skin all the time ... it's getting, daresay, boring. It's becoming predictable and frankly, nobody really even cares all that much about it anymore. It's like nobody is even holding their breath anymore over what Miley may or may not do at these awards shows, because everybody's basically seen it all from her before -- and not for lack of trying; it's because she does the same thing every time, friends. It's kind of hard to miss.
Sorry, Miley, but your number's up, girl.
