Iheanacho's father told local Nigerian radio this week he expected his son to join Manchester United, before name checking Manchester City.
Galeano said: "The latest regarding our client Kelechi Iheanacho? We are finalizing a contract and I might be able to share details shortly.
"Multiple clubs have shown interest in the player."
He added: "We will have an official update shortly."
Several rogue agents have attempted to muscle in on Iheanacho's transfer, but Galeano insists his company, Inter Sport Management, are in charge of negotiations.
"Yes, we were here before Kelechi Iheanacho was a global name."
