Lupita to Get Hitched to K'naan?



Forget Hollywood flirt Jared Leto, now, Lupita has not only been linked to Somali rapper K'naan, but American press is reporting of an "impeding wedding". According to AllHipHop.com, there are new rumours that suggest that the pair are close to getting married after a mere six months.

What new will come from this week African and European fourth summit in Brussels? Leaders will certainly agree on some practical measures to address security in the Sahel, especially on Central African Republic.
Unfortunately, the problems will remain in their entirety as both sides have yet to start addressing the root causes of the continued instability and not only its horrendous consequences: bloodletting and plight of refugees and internally displaced persons.

Social Activists, Japheth Omojuwa, Uche Briggs And Four Others Realeased

  The Nigerian police have released popular blogger and youths activist Japheth Omojuwa, Uche Briggs and four others hours after they were arrested in Abuja for leading a protest over the deaths of 17 youths during the nationwide recruitment tests by the Nigeria Immigration Service.

They were released around wednesday night. The police asked them to report back this morning.




Former Nigerian Minister, Stella Oduah Quizzed By The EFCC Over Bulletproof Cars

Former Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah, was yesterday April 2nd invited by men of the Intelligence and Special Operations Unit of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, where she was subjected to a 5-hour question drill as regards the $1.6m BMW bullet-proof car purchase scandal that rocked the Aviation Ministry when she served as Minister of Aviation.

Oduah, who arrived the Idiagbon House Headquarters' of the EFFC office in Abuja at about 10.05am, was there till about 3pm.

New strong quake hits Chile

Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, who was assessing damage from Tuesday's 8.2 jolt, was among those forced to evacuate as the latest quake sowed terror among exhausted and nervous residents.
"People are running around terrified," a resident of the northern city of Iquique told Canal 13 in a telephone interview. "It is still moving, it is terrible."

Ritualist Encalve Discovered In Ogun State, Nigeria

Another ritualist den has been discovered under a bridge close to the gate of a popular Cement Company along the Abeokuta Lagos Expressway.
A man from Ado-Ekiti Ekiti State who had lived as a mad man in the Iyana Egbado village in Ewekoro LGA of the state was seen carrying a nylon bag yesterday in a suspicious manner. Residents of the area decided to find out what was in his nylon and upon tearing it, it was discovered it contained decayed human intestine stained with blood. He was about to be lynched but was quickly saved and whisked away by men of the Ogun State Police command.
