Congo officially Ebola free

No new cases have been registered since October 4, Health Minister Felix Kabange Numbi said but warned, "The end of the epidemic ... does not mean we are completely out of danger."

"Like every other nation, the Democratic Republic of Congo remains threatened by the possible import of the Ebola virus disease raging in West Africa," he said.
The outbreak in his country involved a different strain of Ebola from the one that has claimed more than 5,000 lives in West Africa.
