Billy Standley, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, carried
out his wish to be buried on his 1967 Harley Davidson motorcycle on
Friday. He was placed upright in a large Plexiglas casket.
Dressed in his leathers and sunglasses, and sitting on top of his 1967 Electra Glide cruiser, Billy Standley, who died on Sunday, was taken for one last ride.
The body of the 82-year-old, who died of lung cancer, was visible through the transparent Plexiglas coffin that his bike has been placed in.

Justin Bieber released after private jet searched for drugs
NEW YORK, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber was allowed re-entry into the United States on Friday after a brief detention during which U.S. Customs officials used drug-sniffing dogs to search his private jet, according to a U.S. law enforcement source briefed on the incident.
No illegal drugs were found on the plane and no charges were brought, but the young singer and his fellow passengers were questioned for several hours, said the source.

In a speech to the African Union, the 54-member bloc's chief Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma provided a foresight of what Africa could be like in just 50 years' time, providing some welcome distraction to an agenda dominated by conflict.
Written as a message to a hypothetical friend in 2063, Dlamini-Zuma spoke of a "grand reality" where a new Confederation of African States has replaced the AU.
CAR rebels seize town north of Bangui

Fighters from the Central African Republic's Seleka rebel group violently seized a town north of the capital Bangui on Thursday, sending terrorised civilians fleeing, according to military and diplomatic sources.
A paramilitary police source told AFP a convoy of about 50 vehicles loaded with Seleka fighters surrounded Sibut on Wednesday night, committing atrocities against the population of the town about 180 kilometres north of Bangui.
The mostly Muslim fighters, reported to have been speaking only in Arabic, took full control of the town on Thursday.
A diplomatic source said the fighters, involved in weeks of horrific violence between Muslims and the Christian majority, were "regrouping" in the town.

The African Union summit wrapped up Friday with a call to fast-track an African standby force to better respond to conflicts across the continent. AU leaders say the recent violence in South Sudan and the Central African Republic underscores the need for rapid intervention.
In his closing statement, newly appointed AU chairman Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the president of Mauritania, said African nations must commit resources to resolve the continent’s problems.

Is Microsoft finally getting a new chief executive? Speculation is white-hot that Satya Nadella, executive vice president of its Cloud and Enterprise group, will be taking on the position.
Re/Code’s Kara Swisher reported Thursday that a decision could come within the next week, and that Nadella was the leading candidate. That was followed by areport from Bloomberg, which also said it’s possible Microsoft is also looking to replace its board chairman, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.
Naming Nadella would close a search that’s taken more than five months so far and caused a considerable amount of turmoil on company boards throughout the country.
