President Obama has no problem with weed smoking but will not tolerate alcoholic intake in the United States. In his words.."As has been documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don’t think it is more dangerous than alcohol,”Obama told Remnick.
Obama believes Marijuana smoking is less dangerous than alcoholic intake, in terms of its impact on the individual consumer. He is also of the opinion that the ban on pot smoking is targeted at the poor Americans especially the African-Americans.
President Obama says he is not encouraging pot smoking and that it is a bad idea, waste of time and not healthy and has advised his daughters not to follow his foot steps regarding weed.
