BET award winner and international hip-hop star, Davido was in Rwanda for the annual liberation day concert where he performed at the Amahiro national stadium to over 60,000 Rwandans. Davido who was the star of the day was welcomed earlier at the international airport in Kigali by the Rwandan President, Paul Kagame and his wife. The event was held on the 4th of July, 2014.
