This collaboration
between two of Africa’s hottest hip hop stars, Laylizzy and AKArepresenting Mozambique
and South Africa irrespectively,has kept #HelloLaylizzy buzzing. The song was
exclusively available on iTunes on the day of its release, topping the iTunes
charts in both countries. The craze did not only hit this music platform but is
continuously topping radio charts too, currently featured on the Top 40s of several
radio stations inclusive of the hottest youth radio station in South Africa,
YFM.

also took a lead on the biggest radio station in Mozambique, Super FM and

produced by Ellputoand was inspired by Laylizzy’s hunger to push his music
beyond boundaries and that one wish from his Mozambican fans,which was to see
their idol, Laylizzy collaborate with one of Africa’s biggest rappers, AKA. AKA featured on “Hello”
in order to continue with his plan of increasing his reach across Africa
through collabs with the big stars from his targetted territories. He targeted
Nigeria with Burna Boy, Tanzania with Diamond Platnumz and is now going for
Mozambique with Laylizzy.
The masses

Laylizzy
(real name Edson Abel Jeremias Tchamo)
is a Master in Business Law, song writer and versatile Portuguese speaking,
Mozambican rap artist who decided to do things different from the pack by
learning English from watching cartoons as he had a drive to snap out of the
shell and comfort zone of rapping in just his home language, Portuguese. Born
on the 28th of October 1988 and bred in Maputo(Mozambique) where he
developed much of his career as a musician, hehas set a pace in rapping in
English and building a fan base for English/ Portuguese hip hop in his home
city. Laylizzy is now signed under South Africa’s Geobek Entertainment, where
he has successfully released two singles, “Tha Crew” (2015) and “Hello” (2016) featuring
South African hip hop artist, AKA to date. Being a passion driven artist, he
continues to grow his fan base in South Africa and other countries in the
continent through his music.
