the currently buzzing hits in the continent? This time around, Shamiso Music&
Entertainment signed Afro Jazzstar, WillomTight
is all about the money!

Uhuru’s DJ Maphorisa, WillomTight’s current single, “Money” features Nigerian artist, Runtown and four- man South
African music group, Uhuru. The single is taken from his forthcoming album
M.A.N.I.F.E.S.T.O which also features the legendary Afro pop singer, Salif
Keita from Mali, Riot from South Africa and Tjay from Ghana.
From the
first crack into the song, one could justly pick up the Uhuru trademark on it,
with quite an enthusiastic vibe.
The M.A.N.I.F.E.S.T.O saga

Born
on the 15th of March 1971 in Harare Tafara township in Zimbabwe,
WilbroadMuponda, popularly known by his stage name Willom Tight is the fifth
born in a family of seven.His family occasionally held traditional ceremonies,
rendering Willom a rattle shaker and drum beater at a tender age.
Willom
Tight is a vocalist and singer-songwriter who can be best described as a
musical powerhouse, who best reflects contemporary Afrocentric-soul music. He
sings in Shona interspersed with a bit of English, and the lyrics often have
special or hidden messages. The forthcoming album entails soul soothing, guitar
rhythmic stories that capture the innermost emotions of the soul.
He
is gifted with a deep and gusty voice plus a talent for writing songs that
reflect on the daily life and struggles of the people. His career has been
decorated with successful hits as well as memorable local collaborations among
them one with Mateo & Friends with their hit Pamuhacha.
Since
then, WillomTight has been aiming at taking his music across Africa, hence his
collaborations with musicians drawn from across the continent on his
forthcoming project.
