Manchester United have approached Valencia for midfield schemer Ever Banega.
TMW says United have sounded out Valencia about Banega's availability in the last 24 hours. The Argentine has been a long-term target for United manager David Moyes, who was following the midfielder when in charge of Everton.
Valencia are set to change hands with Singaporean Peter Lim now finalising his takeover and are under no pressure to sell.
However, Banega does have ambitions beyond Los Che and is excited about the interest of United this month.
AC Milan and Inter Milan have also made contact with Valencia, but are well behind United in the queue.
