The four months industrial action embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), weekend suffered a setback as the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), have announced December 2, Monday, as resumption date in the two institutions.
The date was given in a statement from the two schools Saturday.
According to the UNN Registrar, Mr Anthony Okonta, in the statement, normal academic activities would resume immediately, on resumption Monday.
Similarly, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the ESUT Registrar, Mr Chris Igbokwe in a statement said that academic work in the institution will start on Monday, Dec 2.
