Adokiye Kyrian 'Even if 10 to 12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care': #BringBackOurGirls

Nigerian singer Adokiye Kyrian popularly known as Adokiye has managed to raise a few eyebrows with her comments on the kidnapping of more than 200 girls.

According to the Nigerian government 219 kidnapped schoolgirls remain unaccounted for two months after being abducted by Boko Haram militants.
The kidnapping of the girls sparked global condemnation with many civil rights groups and celebrities organising protests, calling for the Nigerian government to act.
Adokiye has now added her voice to the #BringBackOurGirls campaign by suggesting that the militant group take her in exchange for the girls.

According to Nigerian website Showtime, Adokiye told the Vanguard newspaper: “This is 11pm in the night and do you know what I am thinking about? Those little girls, where they are and what could be happening to them. It is just unfair. They are too young. I wish I could offer myself in exchange.”

Recent media reports have detailed the possible abuse the girls could be subjected to including gang rape.
This is also something that the Nigerian star felt strongly about.
“They are between 12 and 15 year old girls for Christ sake. I am older and more experienced. Even if 10 to 12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let them go back to their parents,” she was quoted saying.
This is not the first time Adokiye has made such attention grabbing statements.
In April this year she was quoted saying that she ‘is still a virgin and will remain a virgin until she finds a man who can buy her mom a private jet.’
