 The series of five events which will take place across the country over the next year, starting with Bloemfontein this coming Friday, was announced at an event held at the Sir James venue in Kramerville Sandton.

The Redds carnivals will be taking place in 5 cities across the country from October till March next year.
The spectacular processions will weave their way through the city grids, with each city putting together a carnival that promises an amazing display, ending at an after party.

“We hope to bring communities together in true style by celebrating the people, places and music together. Carnival is the ideal event to celebrate the wonderful diversity of culture and talent in our beautiful country,” SAB’s General Manager of the Flavoured Alcoholic Beverages (FAB) portfolio Micah Naidoo said.
“We are also donating the after party ticket sale proceeds of each carnival to local arts and culture organisations to help develop carnival culture in those cities,” he said.

The street carnivals will be taking place in Bloemfontein, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Nelspruit in the following cities and dates:
- Bloemfontein: 3rd of October 2014
- Durban: 11th of October 2014
- Cape Town: 14th of March 2015
- Nelspruit:  November 2014
- Port Elizabeth: February 2015
