The
evening of the 13th of August saw Spring/Summer fashion trends being
set at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week withGeobek Records signed, multi award
winning music producer, Ellputo as the special guest.
The highly anticipated Xipixi design showcase by Mozambican fashion
designer, Antonio Macheve Jnr. took place at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
held at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton, Johannesburg, being the first designer
to showcase his clothing brand for the 6pm show. More pics after cut.......
The runway was set alight by super models, with music producer Ellputo
making his appearance as a special guest, rocking a well tailored purple
blazer, black trousers, an African printed bow tie bringing some more colour to the luxurious outfit and Aldo shoes accentuating the
theme, “Year of the gentleman.”
The outfit showcased by Ellputo highlighted a great fashion taste and
style which was well portrayed by the designer and greatly received by everyone
who witnessed the showcase.
Catching up with Ellputo after his appearance, he is very honoured to
have been invited as a special guest to be a part of the experience. “As a
fitness model and a person who generally loves luxurious menswear, it was a
great feeling to walk the runway showing the masses what Spring trends should
be followed,’ he says.

About Ellputo
Geobek Records multi award winning producer, Ellputo (real name Etivaldo
Victorino) was born on the 8th of July 1988 and began his career in
2000 when he was 11 years old. Besides being a producer, the young mastermind
is the founder of one of the most successful production houses in Mozambique,
Sameblood Productions that he established with his brother, Mic-B and hip hop
artist, Laylizzy.
With his extensive experience in the music industry, he has worked with
numerous local artists and artists from other countries such as Lizha James,
Dama do Bling, Trio Fam, DJ Elex, Young Sixties, Edu, Lay low (now Laylizzy),
Hernâni Da Silva, Dice, Blanco, T- Rese, Dabo Boys and Simba to mention a few.
